Codes: “What’s on the Horizon & The Cost of Compliance

 

Dealing with ever changing codes and their impact on building budgets continues to become more daunting for property owners, managers, tenants, and perspective tenants.  BOMA is pleased to present three professionals who will update the audience on current codes, expected code changes and the costs associated with compliance

Our Speakers Include:

Hal Roth, PE, Regional Manager, Cascade Water Services, Inc.

The presentation will include a brief history and scope of the problems presented by the legionnaires disease bacteria and review the content and impact of ASHRAE Standard 188.  It will also cover the requirements and compliance with new legislation passed by both New York State and New York City.

James Dolan, PE, Principal, OLA Consulting Engineers

The presentation will include an update on the New York State Energy Codes.

Charlie Magnotta, Project Manager &  Anthony Liquor, Head Engineer, Open Systems
The presentation will include the New York State Carbon Monoxide Detection requirements and will include the Application and Installation of Carbon Monoxide Detectors.
